The Betty Ann Norton Theatre School has 48 years experience in teaching voice,speech, mime, communications and acting providing a wide range of courses for children, teens and adults.
Classes range from Kindergarten level to Adult Diploma Courses (Associate, Licentiate and Fellowship) in Acting or Teaching Speech and Drama
Students may cover diploma courses from colleges including Trinity/Guildhall
London, London College of Music & Media at Thames Valley University,
The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art etc.
Michael Gambon - Patron
Dublin born actor Sir Michael Gambon joined the National Theatre under the artistic directorship of Sir Laurence Oliver. He has regularly appeared at the Royal National Theatre and the RSC. Roles include King Lear, Othello, Mark Anthony and Volpone. Movie fans will be more than familiar with his role of Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films. Betty Ann Norton Theatre School are proud to have Sir Michael as their patron.
Jim Norton - Patron
A huge body of work to his name including Reading James Joyce for Nexus Audio Books, won the Olivier award for "The Seafarer" by Conor MacPherson in 2007 and which is currently on Broadway with Jim playing the role for which he won the Olivier. And of course Bishop Brennan in "Father Ted".
