SPEECH TRAINING/ADULT DRAMA COURSE

The course is both practical and theoretical and the emphasis is on enjoyment and personal satisfaction. The Course covers all the aspects of voice and speech to help acquire a clear, interesting voice that can adapt to the demands of everyday life and help increase Self-Confidence in situations where the voice is used on a one-to-one basis or in a group situation. While the full course is one year's duration starting in September, (and this is recommended for maximum benefit), it is cyclical, each of the three terms dealing with a different aspect of speech and so may be picked up at the beginning of term 1,2 or 3. Video Assessment monitors progress.
Adult Drama
The Course combines drama work for poise, confidence and personality development with stage craft and theatre techniques.
It is devised to be both instructive and enjoyable. Having successfully completed this first year speech and drama course, a certificate is awarded to those who complete the three terms in foundation year.
Students can continue their studies by pursuing (a) a Diploma Course in Acting or Teaching (b) An advanced performance acting course.
