Welcome to the Betty Ann Norton Theatre School Website.
The Betty Ann Norton Theatre School has 50 years experience in teaching voice,speech, mime, communications and acting providing a wide range of courses.
At the Betty Ann Norton Theatre School you can commence classes at Kindergarden Level and continue up to Diploma in either Teaching or Acting. You must be 18+ to attend a diploma class.
Classes range from Kindergarten level to Adult Diploma Courses (Associate, Licentiate and Fellowship) in Acting or Teaching Speech and Drama
Students may cover diploma courses from colleges including Trinity/Guildhall
London, London College of Music & Media at University of West London,
The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art etc.

Betty Ann Norton L.R.A.MD, L.G.S.M, A.R.I.A.M, G.O.D.A, A.D.A., Is founder, director, and head tutor at Betty Ann Theatre School. This is a fully Irish company which operated in Harcourt Street Dublin 2 for 45 years. Five years ago the school was moved to Cuisle St Louis High School in Rathmines. Many well known actors, Directors, Television Presenters, Singers, Journalists, Authors, and Barristers have been trained at the school.
Students from the school have represented Ireland abroad, in Luxembourg, Holland, England, Spain, and Japan, and received many awards.
Betty Ann is a well known lecturer and examiner and has adjudicated at many drama festivals all over Ireland including the Dundalk International Theatre Festival and the All-Ireland Finals in Athlone. She has written a number of original plays and is an accomplished director and has brought many works to the stage, Including aproduction to celebrate the 50th year of her school was the Irish premiere of "Coram Boy" by Helen Edmunson, Adapted from the novel by Jamila Gavin. This was first presented at the National Theatre in London.
Her Latest Product was "AN ELIZABETHAN FANTASY" To open Heritage week at the O.P.W`s Rathfarnham Castle in August 2012.
