| TEACHING DIPLOMA |

Classes for ASSOCIATE and LICENTIATE Diploma for London College and Guildhall School of Music & Drama are held on Tuesdays from 6.45pm to 10.30pm and Thursdays from 6.30pm to 10.00 pm. The season on Tuesday is devoted to Voice Class and a creative Drama Class covering a wide range of Theatre and acting techniques. This is followed by a detailed and individual preparation of Poetry, Prose and modern/classical selections of drama. Students also prepare a WRITTEN QUESTION which is handed up each week, this is returned corrected with notes, and a general discussion on all aspects of Question and Answer. Teacher Training with classes of wide age range are available at no extra fee and are required aspects of the course.
Thursday evening consists of a Mime Class, Tutorials in Theory of Speech and Drama followed by Lectures/Workshops dealing with the Theory of Speech, Literature and History of Theatre. The course is carefully planned so that all requirements for the examination are covered. This attention to detail is reflected in the high standards achieved by our students. Those who complete the Associate and Licentiate may then study for a Fellowship if they wish to do so.
